Position summary:

The team is looking for an Implementation Consulting Analyst who can deliver results in a fast-paced environment. In this role, the team member will work closely with the Project Managers of our global teams to ensure the successful completion of onboarding Private Equity and Venture Capital Clients to the iLEVEL platform. The Implementation Consulting Analyst will collaborate with team members from several departments to ensure the successful completion of implementation and optimal use of the Markets solution.

Since this is a client-facing role, we require someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a MUST HAVE.

Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:

1. The individual should possess excellent communications skills as this role demands multiple client interactions.
2. The individual will act as an extension of the US- and UK-based client deployment team, helping to implement, customize, and enhance the ‘Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting’ services provided to Private Equity clients.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel - should display strong knowledge in advanced Excel functions.
4. Understanding of Capital Market structure with more focus on Private Capital Market and Financial Accounting.
5. Must be able to interpret various types of financial reports, e.g., valuation reports, financial statements, portfolio summaries, fund analytics, etc.
6. Question and understand requirements and then be concise and analytical in the design of the reporting related to that data.
7. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exhaust all resources before contacting the team lead.

Main Responsibility areas:

1. Dealing with confidential data.
2. Prepare financial reports, templates, configure the portal as per PE/VC clients’ requirements.
3. Become a Subject Matter Expert on the client’s platform, its capabilities and features, and its application.
4. Work on multiple client implementations simultaneously & efficiently and deal with confidential client data.

Requirements:

1. MBA specialized in Finance or equivalent Post Graduate Degree with 0 - 2.5 years of relevant client-facing and project management experience.
2. Proficient in MS Excel.
3. Understanding of financial reporting and statement analysis.
4. Alternative investment/private equity knowledge.
5. Experience and confidence in facilitating client working sessions and other public speaking situations.
6. Financial modeling knowledge is a plus.
7. Experience with IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) proprietary software (e.g., QVAL, iLEVEL, and iVal) is an added advantage for the role.

Education and Competencies:

1. MBA Finance or equivalent degree is a must.
2. Excellent English communication skills (Verbal and Written).
3. Should be fluent in Mandarin Language (Verbal and Written).
4. Experience and confidence in facilitating client working sessions and other public speaking situations.
5. Experience working with software (e.g., QVAL, iLevel, and iVal) is an added advantage for the role.
6. Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively with clients.
7. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
