About the role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to join our team in Dili, Timor Leste on a full-time basis. As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Primary and Secondary students, helping them develop essential digital skills and knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education of young people in Timor Leste.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering ICT lessons that are aligned with the curriculum and tailored to the needs of Primary and Secondary students
• Providing individualized support and guidance to help students excel in their ICT studies
• Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to support their learning and development
• Collaborating with other teachers and educational professionals to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of ICT education
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and curiosity
• Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience

What we're looking for

• Relevant teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a postgraduate teaching certificate
• 3-5 years of experience teaching ICT or a related subject at an International school level
• Strong knowledge of ICT concepts, including hardware, software, programming, and digital literacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Adaptability and creativity to develop innovative teaching methods and learning materials
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
