Job Title: Ice Cream Regulatory Affairs Associate

To translate this mission efficiently into action, and to ensure that we comply with its own high standards as well as with the technical aspects of legislation, we are looking for a talented Regulatory Affair who will play a crucial role in ensuring our products comply with all relevant regulations and standards. This person will be responsible for basic regulatory pillars that are: Compliance & Innovation support in the country and will work closely with internal stakeholders and minimal interact with external stakeholders, to navigate the complex regulatory landscape and support the successful launch of new ice cream products.
Main purpose of the job, accountabilities and key tasks:
Coordinates product compliance in the country: Manages product compliance implementation in the country and ensures the execution of local regulation by check artwork & label information. Contributes to the assessment of regulatory compliance related to sourcing unit change. Be the first point of contact for local regulatory and compliance requirements, support implementation of changed/new legislation in relevant products and contributes to/give training to relevant team.
Support the regulatory strategy, organisation and guidance for the innovation projects in a country: Deliver regulatory input to the innovation projects (covering labelling compliance including product claim) which will be combined with other input from other functions and review/assessment in the LCF (pre lock). Contributes to Regional Asia RA network & BU network to update on country regulatory related matters such as:
When needed, help to connect with local regulatory consultants and/or external regulatory experts related to the innovation projects and/or country regulation. Working with RA lead to implement the strategy.
Be the RA contact to support on specific topic needed for the country: Monitors the external environment in the country & liaise with regional RA lead. Help to support company position in the face of new regulations or amendment in regulations. Support the advocacy effort on regulation/legislation harmonization through local industry association & liaise with regional RA lead.
