I&R Executive (Specialized in Dairy/Cream/Sauce)

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Work with the team on new product development, prototypes, and sensory evaluations. Improve existing products for better taste, texture, and shelf life.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and new technologies. Explore innovative ingredients, processes, and packaging solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all products meet food safety standards and conduct regular quality checks. Work with the quality control team to resolve any quality issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Trial Run: Work with marketing, production, and warehouse teams to align product development with company goals. Manage product trials and provide technical support when needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of research and experiments. Prepare reports for management and follow up on all I&R activities, including lab-scale samples.
  • Cost Management: Monitor budgets to ensure cost-effective product development and find ways to reduce costs without affecting quality.
  • Housekeeping & 5S Practice: Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the I&R lab and demo kitchen.
  • Other Tasks: Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Culinology or related academic background.
  • Over 3-4 years proven track record in I&R/Product Development/Application Specialist of food industry (specialized in manufacturing plant).
  • Preferable working experience with a strong background in the Dairy, Ice cream, Sauces or Flavor house industry.
  • Monitor quality control procedures to ensure that products meet regulatory and company standards.
  • SAP exposure would be an added advantage.
  • Able to quickly build excellent relationships with internal and external partners as well as working with remote teams.
  • Technical skill(s): Well knowledge in food production and processing, and knowledge of food safety standards/certifications (FSSC, ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, etc) is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Familiar with Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Food Product Application/Culinary Cooking Skill/Sensory Evaluation/Project Management exposure would be an added advantage.

We are an established dairy product manufacturer located at Telok Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, Selangor. Established in 1991 as a packaging agent for foodstuff, F&B Nutrition Sdn. Bhd. transformed itself in 2004 and is now one of the largest OEM manufacturers of sweetened creamer and evaporated creamer in Malaysia. We have seen tremendous growth in the demand for vegetable oil-based creamers, both locally and in the overseas market. Currently, we are expanding our factory with additional production lines that can manufacture all 4 can sizes – 170gram, 390gram, 505gram, and 1kg packaging simultaneously. Our expansion has also seen the introduction of our newly launched Evaporated Creamer line, which is already operating at full capacity.
