Job description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead HR
strategy and manage the full spectrum of HR functions for our dynamic and growing IT
company. Must have prior experience managing over 150 employees.

Job Description:


1. Talent Acquisition and Strategic Planning
-Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and
on-boarding/off-boarding, to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
-Develop creative sourcing strategies and design effective organizational charts
and accurate job descriptions.
-Collaborate with leadership to forecast manpower needs and manage workforce
planning and budgeting.


2. Compensation and Benefits
-Design and oversee competitive pay structures, conducting periodic salary surveys,
bonus allocations, and job evaluations.
-Manage employee benefits programs and total rewards programs in line with
company goals and mandatory regulations.
-Verify monthly payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.


3. Training and Development
-Identify training needs and create development programs to support skill
enhancement and career growth.
-Manage company-wide training initiatives, including orientation, leadership
development, and HRD Corporation submissions.
-Coordinate succession planning and talent reviews to support organizational growth
and employee retention.
-Establish training systems and track the effectiveness of learning programs to address
skill gaps.


4. Performance Management
-Oversee the performance management process, including setting objectives,
conducting appraisals, and facilitating feedback.
-Regularly update job descriptions and performance metrics to align with business
needs.
-Recommend and implement changes to policies and procedures based on employee
performance trends.
-Develop recognition programs to reward outstanding performance.


5. Employee Relations and Compliance
-Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and
relationship management.
-Analyze HR metrics, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction.
-Handle employee grievances, mediate conflicts, and ensure equitable resolution
of disciplinary actions.
-Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, including the Employment Act,
Industrial Relations Act, ISO 9001 & ISO 27001, EPF, and SOCSO regulations.
-Manage audits and compliance activities related to ISO standards and other relevant
frameworks.


Job Requirements:


·Education: Possess at least a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
· Experience: Must have prior experience managing over 150 employees. Over 5 years of
relevant experience managing the full spectrum of Human Resources, including at least 3
years in a managerial role within the service industry. Experience in an IT company is an
added advantage.
· Knowledge:
-In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory regulations, and HR best practices.
-Expertise in the full HR life-cycle management, succession planning, strategic
workforce planning, and industrial relations.
· Skills:
-Strong interpersonal skills, capable of establishing respect and credibility through
actions and communications.
-Analytical with excellent problem-solving and people management skills.
-Proactive and detail-oriented with high integrity in handling confidential information.


· Languages: Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
