Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition & Retention:
    Develop and implement recruitment strategies for both office and factory positions.
    Oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
    Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention.
  2. Compensation & Benefits:
    Ensure salary structures remain competitive and in compliance with labor laws.
    Oversee payroll accuracy and benefits administration (SOCSO, EPF, medical insurance, allowances).
    Develop performance-based incentives to enhance productivity.
  3. Employee Relations & Engagement:
    Act as a key liaison between management and employees.
    Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    Organize training and development programs to support employee growth.
  4. Foreign Worker (FW) Management (In Collaboration with Factory HR):
    Work closely with Factory HR to handle FW recruitment, permits, and contract renewals.
    Ensure compliance with Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK), Immigration Department, and other authorities.
    Oversee FW accommodations, transportation, medical check-ups, and welfare support.
    Address FW-related workplace issues, ensuring legal and ethical treatment.
  5. Liaison with Local Councils & Government Departments:
    Engage with local councils and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth HR operations.
    Work with Factory HR to manage labor compliance, including occupational safety (JKKP) and workforce regulations.
  6. License Management & Renewals:
    Maintain a database of all company licenses and permits (e.g., manufacturing license, business permits, Halal certification, ISO certifications, safety licenses).
    Ensure timely renewal of all licenses to avoid disruptions.
    Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  7. Workplace Safety & Compliance:
    Ensure HR policies align with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations.
    Work with Factory HR to support safety training and compliance initiatives.
