Job description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department.
  3. Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  4. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  5. Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  6. Implementing and revising a company’s compensation program.
  7. Preparing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget.
  8. Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program.
  9. Maintaining, recommending and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.
  10. Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling.
  11. Hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  12. Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee recognition, and Company Rec Club activity, and Company’s events support.
  13. Coordinates all Human Resources training programs, and assigns the authority/responsibility of Human Resources and employees within those programs.
  14. Leads the implementation of the KPI that includes performance development plans and employee development programs.
  15. Support and undertake ad-hoc matters from Management as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Education: Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree (Human Resource, Social Sciences, Management or equivalent).
  2. At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Overall know-how and experience in the establishment of an HR management system.
  4. Knowledge of Malaysia Labour Law and relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Good communication skills.
  6. Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
