To plan, develop, implement and execute policies towards Company’s and Human Resource Department’s goals and objectives.
To ensure that the Company complies with all rules and regulations set by the Malaysian authorities pertaining to employment related laws, i.e., Employment Act, IR Act, Trade Unions Act, SOCSO, Income Tax, MACC, etc.
Responsible to uphold, execute and comply with the Quality Management System, current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practice, Occupational Safety & Health, Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Rules & Regulations, Company’s Core Values and other policies imposed from time to time.
Effectively manage recruitment and hiring process to ensure the right talent for the right job in a timely manner.
To actively manage and administer the Industrial Relations (IR), disciplinary issues, and all other related activities to sustain strong industrial harmony, including handling all matters relating to the Collective Agreement and Union matters.
Partnering with the Training Unit for ongoing personal development programs for leaders.
Engage all internal stakeholders on matters pertaining to employee relations and industrial relations.
Responsible for providing coaching to subordinates.
To organize and handle employee medical examinations on a yearly basis following the internal (Company) and external (OSHA) regulatory requirements.
To manage all new HR-related projects and initiatives and all other tasks as and when required by the management.
Requirements:
Degree holder preferably in Human Resource, Law, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years working experience in a Managerial / Senior Executive position.
Good knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, and Malaysian Labour Law including Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Unions Act, Income Tax Act, and MACC Act.
Excellent communication skills in managing stakeholders and employees of different levels.
Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience with managing external Trade Unions and experience in negotiating Collective Agreements will be an added advantage.

Position based in HQ in Melaka but will be responsible for both HQ and Sales Marketing Office in Kuala Lumpur.
