Reporting to:
The Intern – Human Resources reports to the Manager, Human Resources and Talent Management.

General Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to perform HR generalist tasks and support our HR department’s activities.

Your responsibilities include assisting in expatriate recruitment, new staff onboarding, staff offboarding, staff training, staff events and preliminary work for HR projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment: Assist in the expatriate recruitment process by coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates, preparing documentation for relevant government organizations and work permit applications, coordinating flight & hotel accommodation and communication sessions for the new expatriate teaching staff.
  2. New Staff Onboarding: Assist in coordinating new hires orientation program, preparing new staff welcome pack, new staff files and onboard new expatriate staff.
  3. Offboarding: Prepare and submit expatriate staff income tax for clearance and facilitate EPF withdrawal process.
  4. Training & Development: Assist to coordinate internal & external training and certification programs and update training records.
  5. Employee Relations and HR Projects: Assist in organizing festive events for staff and conduct research, analysis & preliminary work for HR projects.
  6. Assist HR team in daily operations and responding to staff inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources/psychology or studying toward a degree in human resources/psychology or related field.
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills (written & verbal).
  • Effective time management skills, good team player, and ability to meet timelines.
