Human Resources Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a strong background in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
2. Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations:

1. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
2. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Performance Management:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
2. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.

Compliance & Policy Management:

1. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
2. Update and maintain HR policies and procedures as needed.

Training & Development:

1. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
2. Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

HR Administration:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
2. Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.

Payroll Processing:

1. Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.
2. Participate in company events, including festive celebrations, CSR activities, and ESG campaigns.

General Administration:

1. Oversee office administration tasks such as managing office supplies, tenancy, equipment, and maintenance.
2. Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
3. Proven experience in the full spectrum of HR functions and administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
5. Proficiency in both written and spoken English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
