Job Description:
Overview: This position will assist in managing the full spectrum of human resource responsibilities and activities of our company. S/he also needs to perform full spectrum of human resource functions including manpower planning, recruitment, talent retention, HR budgeting, administering compensation & benefits, industrial relations, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and responsible for foreign workers management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full spectrum of human resource and administration functions which include recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring, payroll, and employee counselling.
- Prepare and submit monthly HR-related reports to Group Management as required.
- Manage performance appraisals, promotions, and salary adjustments on an annual basis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records ensuring compliance with legal requirements, including personal information, attendance, and performance data. Manage filing systems and ensure proper documentation of administrative processes.
- Organize company events, meetings, and employee activities.
- Oversee the full spectrum of foreign workers related matters from liaisons with government bodies, quota application, government agencies’ approvals, foreign worker arrivals to onboarding including accommodation in the hostel and other related government agencies on foreign workers work permit renewal, FOMEMA, insurance etc. Ensure full compliance in policies and procedures with regards to foreign workers issues and statutory requirements.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR administration and related role.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Melayu, and Mandarin. (Mandarin speaker is an advantage)
- Knowledge of foreign worker and hostel management.
- Experience in dealing with FOMEMA, Immigration, JTK, and other government agencies in relation to foreign workers is an added advantage.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Possess own transport and able to travel whenever necessary.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
