Human Resources Assistant

As a Human Resources Assistant at KEN FOODS KITCHEN MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's human capital management strategy. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and will involve overseeing various HR functions to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the company's workforce.

What you'll be doing

• Manage HR related system - Infotech for employee data entry for work record data and leave data.
• Support in the recruitment and selection process, including advertising job openings, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.
• Prepare HR employee letters & affairs such as appointment letters and etc.
• Manage & handle new joiner staff data entry and related document filing.
• Assist in the process of salary calculation for employees.
• Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage tasks related to immigration affairs such as foreign worker hiring and work permit renewal process.
• Handle employee hostel tasks and related matters.
• Provide guidance and support to managers/superiors on HR-related matters.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and HR management software.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
