Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of overall Human Resource (HR) applications and systems
  • Lead and manage a range of HR transactional services, including preparation of letters/documents, administration of employee benefit programs, and monitoring of leave and attendance
  • Ensure the continued quality and integrity of data by performing regular data audits and reconciliations
  • Lead and develop reporting strategy that enables data-driven business decisions for HR and addresses the needs of management and regulatory
  • Design, implement, and evaluate HR reports and other information solutions, ensuring reports are consistent, reliable, and accurate
  • Lead and manage alignment, standardization, simplification, and/or automation plans to support the Group People & Culture’s strategies for operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in policies, re-engineering of HR processes, automation, application operational efficiency, and HR systems
  • Responsible for ensuring issues raised by relevant stakeholders are resolved in a timely manner
  • Timely compilation and reporting of People Analytics reports as required by Head of Department to enable data-driven decision making by the business
  • Plan and implement effective people services processes by collaborating with People & Culture Business and other members of Group People & Culture team in providing value-added services to the business
  • Work cross-functionally to understand business needs and provide actionable insights for ongoing internal customer needs
  • Lead and manage timely implementation, communication, and delivery of new functionality and enhancements
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of physical and digital personnel records

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Employment Law is an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills
  • Strong ethics and discretion
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications with minimum intermediate skills in Excel
