Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a strong background in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Payroll Processing:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.

Compliance & Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures as needed.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proven experience in the full spectrum of HR functions and administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates proficient in Mandarin are preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
