About the role

As a Human Resource Executive at EXSIM HOSPITALITY BERHAD, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's HR functions. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers a chance to actively contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Full-cycle recruitment: Manage the recruitment process, from job posting to complex candidate sourcing, ensuring the best talent joins the team.
  2. Payroll and Administration: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and manage employee benefits, verify monthly overtime and staff movement to ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
  3. Employee Engagement: Design and implement employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, team-building activities, and work-life balance initiatives.
  4. Employee Development: Conduct orientation programs, organize training activities, and oversee performance management to foster a culture of growth and excellence.
  5. HR compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws, conduct HR audits, and maintain accurate documentation to support the organization's legal and ethical standards.
  6. Administrative oversight: Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to maintain a smooth and efficient work environment.
  7. Reporting and analytics: Generate insightful HR metrics and administrative reports to support data-driven decision-making.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the Hospitality Industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and employee relations.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in contributing to the company's success.
