Job description

Job Summary:

The Executive, Human Resources should be a hands-on person who also undertakes a strategic HR role in the full HR spectrum. He/she must be strong in internal communication with management as well as internal stakeholders. He/she should also be familiar with local labour legislations and tripartite guidelines. Experience in compensation and benefit is a plus point.

Key Areas:

Talent Acquisition

  1. Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates from diverse backgrounds using various channels including job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
  2. Handle end to end processes of bringing Non-Traditional-Source workers into Singapore.
  3. Work with the Hiring Manager on talent needs and candidate profiles, and create a compelling employer value proposition to attract top talent.
  4. Conduct pre-screening interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit, and provide detailed feedback to hiring managers to facilitate the decision-making process.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the hiring process, and acting as a brand ambassador for the company.
  6. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to optimize the recruitment process.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to talent acquisition, and share insights and knowledge with the team to enhance the overall recruitment function.
  8. Liaise with MOM and any other government agencies for employee-related issues.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  1. Coordinate with hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  2. Create and maintain onboarding checklists, documents, and resources to guide new employees through the onboarding process.
  3. Conduct new hire orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with the company culture, policies, procedures, and benefits.
  4. Ensure that all necessary paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Facilitate introductions between new employees and key stakeholders within the organization, such as team members, managers, and mentors.
  6. Provide ongoing support to new employees during their first few weeks on the job, answering questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
  7. Continuously seek feedback from new employees and incorporate it into the onboarding process to improve the overall experience.
  8. Provide advisory service to employees on HR matters.

Reports

  1. Develop and implement a reporting framework to track recruitment metrics, such as time to fill, cost per hire, source of hire, and candidate demographics.
  2. Create regular reports and dashboards to communicate recruitment metrics and insights to hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders.

Others

  1. Organize and facilitate in-house and/or offsite employees’ engagement activities, Townhall, Orientation.
  2. Assist and support the Head of HR / Assistant Manager in all HR-related matters including but not limited to recruitment; compensation and benefit; industrial relations; employee engagement & welfare; and employee recognition.
