Monitor and supervise work site activities to ensure full compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its regulations, and regularly appraise line management.
Carry out work site inspections and first-line assurance functions to ensure that occupational safety and health risks associated with work activities, as well as risks posed by machinery, plant, equipment, substances, and appliances, are managed to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
Implement occupational safety and health programs in compliance with regulatory requirements, with a view to enhancing the level of occupational safety and health awareness at all work locations.
Requirements
Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and/or Diploma holder in any discipline with Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) registered with DOSH.
Minimum 2 to 8 years of HSE experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Additional specialized skills depending on project/site requirements:
Minimum Charge man A4 (Registered with Energy Commission); or
Lifting Supervisor Course; or
Authorized Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor (Registered with DOSH); or
Scaffolder L3 (Registered with DOSH) and Scaffold Inspector Course.
