HSE Officer (Health, Safety, and Environment)

Responsibilities

Responsible for day safety activities in construction site by working closely with contractor team and ensuring that they fully comply with our safety policy and standards.

1. Conduct safety induction for contractor employees.
2. Manage daily safety payroll with contractor or project team.
3. Perform a work permit check with a proper risk assessment.
4. Supervise and monitor the site labor force, making safety actions on construction sites.
5. Inspect equipment & hand tools.
6. Prepare Safety & Health reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
7. Conduct preliminary accident investigations and provide information to all concerned parties.
8. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned by the superior or Company.

Qualifications/Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree with at least 2 years of related working experience.

1. Yellow book by DOSH and CIDB Green Card is a must for all candidates.
2. Competency in Scaffolding Level 1 is an added advantage.
3. Excellent command of both oral and written in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
4. Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
5. Good communication skills, both in written and verbal communication.
6. Must be independent and dynamic.
