Monitor and inspect plant, office facilities, and PPE including equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and rectify any safety & health deficiencies.
Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC) and Environmental Aspect Impact (EAIA) on work processes and environmental aspects as required.
Maintain reports of incidents or near misses for management action and be responsible for reducing the risk of injury to personnel and damage to equipment and materials, including the application of safety procedures and methods of statement.
Organize training on fire drills, first aid, chemical spills, safe working methods, and other areas to help strengthen health, safety, and environment.
Organize and coordinate safety and health meetings, ensuring minutes are taken.
Study the adequacy of safety and firefighting equipment in each department and arrange for the purchase of new equipment if required.
Ensure all related EHS issues and safety audit findings are addressed.
Perform regular inspection and testing of all safety and firefighting equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Ensure servicing of equipment is done in a timely manner.
Perform health and safety training (including usage of safety and firefighting equipment) on a regular and systematic basis.
Assist in completing necessary documentation and applications.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
