Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of industrial solutions.

Job Description

Recruitment & Talent Management:

  • Recruitment is the main focus of the role, ensuring the organization hires the right talent.
  • Provide support to young managers, advising them on talent management strategies, team development, and identifying skill gaps.
  • Guide team members on career development and identify the necessary steps to help them grow.
  • Provide strategic partnership, advising on future talent management needs and how to address gaps within the team.

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Engage in strategic partnerships, especially when there are changes or mutual agreements on policy changes.
  • Focus on evolving policies for the shared services team, such as possibly implementing a shared services policy or improving existing procedures.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the intermediary between employees and external third-party partners to address employee relations issues.
  • Engage external parties to help with training or resolve specific employee relations concerns, though the role of employee relations will not be central to this position.

Learning and Development:

  • Currently limited involvement in Learning and Development (L&D), but the role may evolve to include more L&D responsibilities in the future.
  • Tap into existing training programs and continue to develop employee skills as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The team handles its own benchmarking for compensation and benefits.
  • Involved in salary adjustments and promotions, working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders when necessary.

Data and Analytics:

  • The team is growing, and stakeholders are becoming more demanding, requiring HR to provide analytics and data-driven action plans.
  • Expected to use HR metrics to inform decisions and create action plans based on the evolving needs of the business and the workforce.

The Successful Applicant

  • Adaptable & Independent: Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision while being open to guidance when necessary.
  • Experience in Recruitment & Talent Management: Proven experience in recruitment and talent management, with a focus on team development and addressing skill gaps.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals, offering practical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Open to Various Industries: Shared services experience is not a must; candidates from open industries are welcome to apply, as long as they can demonstrate relevant HR experience.
  • Willingness to Learn & Grow: A strong desire to progress and develop in the role, with the potential for career advancement and the opportunity to move up the ladder.
  • Value Potential: Must demonstrate the ability to recognize and harness the value potential of the team and the business.
  • Collaborative & Influential: Able to build strong relationships and collaborate with leadership teams, managers, employees, and external partners.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable using HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and create actionable plans.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills for advising managers, engaging with employees, and working with third-party partners.
  • Good Attitude & Positive Mindset: Must have a positive attitude and be fully committed to the role (100% fit), demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Coachable & Open to Guidance: Willingness to listen and take feedback for personal and professional growth. Must be able to show initiative and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in Compensation & Benefits: Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and collaboration with relevant stakeholders for salary adjustments and promotions.
  • Employee Relations Knowledge: Ability to act as a liaison for employee relations and partner with external parties to address issues when needed.
