Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function. This is a standalone role, responsible for managing all aspects of HR within the company, including talent acquisition, learning and development (L&D), performance management, compensation and benefits, and general HR administration. You will have the support of an administrative assistant to assist with day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of driving HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals and foster a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

  1. Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  2. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.

Learning & Development (L&D):

  1. Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  2. Identify individual and team development needs and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Work with managers to create career development plans for employees.

Performance Management:

  1. Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers.
  2. Develop and implement performance improvement plans where necessary.
  3. Foster a feedback-driven culture to enhance employee engagement and productivity.

Compensation & Benefits:

  1. Manage salary structures and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  2. Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  3. Develop and manage employee rewards and recognition programs.

HR Administration & Compliance:

  1. Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in line with legal requirements.
  2. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  3. Manage employee records, contracts, and HR-related documentation.
  4. Handle employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary actions.

Culture & Employee Engagement:

  1. Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR matters.
  3. Promote workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  4. Experience in recruitment, performance management, and compensation & benefits.
  5. Ability to work independently in a standalone HR role.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  8. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
