Job description

Job Responsibilities: As an HR Manager, we expect you to have experience and proficiency in the six HR full functions:

  1. Human Resource Planning (HRP): To support rapid business expansion, we expect you to fully understand company needs and assist management in planning appropriate HR support strategies, such as appropriate manpower allocation, budgeting, and organizational structure.
  2. Recruitment and Employment (Recruiting): Thoroughly understand the requirements for each position, assist the company in expanding teams, and build a high-efficiency operation team.
  3. Training and Development (Training): Develop a basic understanding of departmental functions, proactively assist units in identifying needs, and improve related professional knowledge and skills.
  4. Performance Management: Follow the company group’s existing appraisal procedure and further propose performance management suggestions tailored to local procedures to effectively motivate employees.
  5. Compensation and Benefits (C&B): Assist management in establishing effective payroll cycles, attendance, leave, salary structure, insurance, employee benefits, tax and regulations to achieve internal management efficiency and talent retention.
  6. Employee Relations (ER): Familiarity with labor laws, able to know the importance of balancing legal compliance and company management and creating a harmonious working environment.

In addition to the regular HR spectrums, we also look forward to you taking on certain administrative tasks:

  1. Establishing Rules and Regulations: Optimize and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and enhance organizational operational efficiency.
  2. Labor Relations Management: Experienced in handling labor disputes with the ability to manage them flexibly and diplomatically, achieving a balance between employee rights and company interests (If needed, can consult legal issues with a lawyer).
  3. Cross-regional Management: Primarily responsible for the Malaysia team, while assisting with HR operations management for regions such as India, Beijing, and Singapore.
  4. Cross-cultural Communication and Business Travel: Collaborate regularly with regional teams to ensure effective implementation of HR policies while adapting to different cultures and work environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Familiar with Malaysian labor laws and is open-minded in knowing and implementing labor laws across different nations.
  • Proficient in Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Excellent communication skills and high stress tolerance, capable of effective collaboration in multicultural environments.
  • Strong management and decision-making skills, capable of leading HR teams across multiple regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR roles within multinational corporations.
  • Experience in HR system implementation.
  • Experience in expanding a team from scratch.
