Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead and drive the human resource function across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, develop and implement high-impact HR strategies, and oversee all aspects of talent management, organizational development, compliance, and employee engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping a people-first culture that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with business goals and drive organizational growth.
    • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to senior management on workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
    • Lead HR initiatives to support change management and organizational transformation.
  2. Talent Management & Succession Planning
    • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring a strong pipeline for critical roles.
    • Design and oversee a robust succession planning framework for leadership and key positions.
    • Foster a culture of continuous development by driving leadership and employee growth programs.
  3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
    • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, embedding these values into the organization’s culture.
    • Shape a positive, high-performance workplace culture through innovative engagement programs and open communication.
  4. HR Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure strict compliance with labor laws, industrial relations regulations, and other statutory requirements in Malaysia.
    • Review and enhance company policies to align with legal standards and industry best practices.
    • Mitigate organizational risk by proactively managing employee relations and handling sensitive issues.
  5. Performance Management
    • Oversee the design and implementation of performance management systems to drive accountability and results.
    • Work closely with department heads to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against goals.
    • Provide strategic direction for addressing underperformance and recognizing top contributors.
  6. Compensation & Benefits Strategy
    • Lead the design of competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with market benchmarks.
    • Conduct salary reviews and recommend adjustments to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
    • Oversee the effective administration of payroll, incentives, and statutory contributions.
  7. HR Analytics & Workforce Planning
    • Leverage HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
    • Forecast workforce needs and develop plans to address talent gaps or surpluses.
    • Monitor key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism, employee satisfaction) and recommend improvements.
  8. Organizational Development
    • Lead restructuring efforts, role redesign, and change management initiatives to support business transformation.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness and agility.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in Human Resources & Admin (at least 5 years of management experience).
  • Solid working experience in HR Business Partnering role
  • Sound exposure and knowledge of HR operation role
  • Well-versed in employment law and statutory registration, state, federal, and international laws and regulation.
  • Assertive in influencing & managing stakeholders. Strong communication & interpersonal skills with high attention to details and good report writing skills.
  • Possess good analytical, planning and organizing skillset
  • Good leadership skills (provide appropriate support/ coaching to all stakeholders)
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.
