HR Manager

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time HR Manager role at our company in Senai Johor is a fantastic opportunity to make a strategic impact on the business. As the HR leader, you will be responsible for driving the people agenda and supporting the continued growth and development of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and systems to support the company's objectives
• Overseeing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to performance management and learning and development
• Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relations matters, especially the management of foreign labor and also the working visa application and maintenance of dispatched employees
• Driving talent management initiatives to attract, retain and develop high-calibre employees
• Leading and coaching a small HR team to deliver excellent HR services
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, cooperating with the system and process department to finish the customer audit such as RBA, WCA, EHS, SBTi etc.
• Collaborating with the leadership team to shape the company culture and values

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience as an HR generalist, ideally gained within a complex, fast-paced organisation in manufacture (especially electronic, household appliance and packaging) industry
• In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and best practice within the Consulting & Generalist HR industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a pragmatic, commercially-focused approach
• Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing HR teams
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
