Your new role
Your core responsibilities include monthly payroll processing, recruitment, reviewing/editing handbooks, SOPs, and enhancing the benefit structure. In your first 6 months, you will be expected to lead the digitalization of payroll from manual processes. Other responsibilities include managing yearly performance management, industrial relations, and foreign worker management. You will lead a team of 2 junior HR staff, with daily tasks comprising 70% operations and 30% strategy. Experience in working with China stakeholders would be ideal to educate and coach the management on local labor laws.
