Accurately process monthly payroll, including calculating deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other payroll components.
Verify timesheets, leave, and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Ensure prompt disbursement of payroll according to company policy and Malaysian labor regulations.
Statutory Compliance:
Handle and ensure accurate calculation and submission of statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS (Employment Insurance System), and PCB.
Prepare and submit monthly and annual statutory reports in compliance with LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia) requirements.
Stay informed about updates to Sarawak Labour Ordinance (SLO), statutory contributions, and tax regulations affecting payroll.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain up-to-date employee records in the payroll system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Malaysian PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act).
Regularly update payroll records for new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and employee status changes.
Issue Resolution:
Address employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, tax matters, and other payroll-related issues.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and account departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and manage escalated issues.
Reporting & Audits:
Generate and distribute monthly payroll reports, statutory reports, and any additional ad hoc payroll-related reports required by the HR, finance, and account departments.
Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
Process Improvement:
Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements and payroll system updates.
Stay updated with industry best practices in payroll management to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
