Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Executive to join our team and play a critical role in managing and enhancing our people processes. The ideal candidate will drive strategic HR initiatives, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. Additionally, this role will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing the company's compensation and benefits schemes. Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and presentation skills is crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
    • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from gathering hiring requirements to onboarding successful candidates.
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
    • Collaborate with department heads to define job roles and ideal candidate profiles.
    • Manage candidate selection, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interview schedules, and oversee final hiring decisions.
    • Negotiate job offers, confirm joining dates, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
    • Maintain and analyze recruitment data, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  2. Employee Onboarding & Engagement
    • Ensure an effective onboarding experience for new employees, covering orientation, company policies, and training.
    • Manage the employee life cycle, including confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
    • Organize engagement initiatives such as team-building activities, annual celebrations, and wellness programs.
    • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and facilitating open communication.
  3. HR Compliance & Employee Records
    • Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, confidentiality agreements, and performance documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain attendance, leave, overtime, and absenteeism records.
    • Prepare and submit monthly HR reports, salary adjustments, and benefits administration data.
  4. Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Management
    • Review and analyze existing compensation and benefits schemes, providing recommendations for enhancements to remain competitive in the market.
    • Oversee payroll processing, verifying attendance data, allowances, and bonuses.
    • Identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency and accuracy.
    • Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with salary structures and benefits adjustments.
    • Conduct market research to benchmark company compensation and benefits against industry standards.
  5. Training & Development
    • Coordinate employee training programs, including technical, compliance, and leadership development sessions.
    • Assist in designing career development plans and upskilling initiatives.
  6. General HR Administration & Employee Relations
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with business goals.
    • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and dispute mediation in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
    • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including compensation and workforce planning.
    • Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in recruitment, payroll, and compensation analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis, and HR reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for delivering insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Chinese (additional languages are a plus).
  • Work on alternate Saturday.
