We are hiring an HR Executive to join our team in Shah Alam.

About the role:

HR Policies

  • Propose, implement and responsible for day-to-day administration of policies and procedures of the Company.
  • Adhere to and where applicable implement guidelines as recommended by Group HR in accordance to “People Management” of ‘The Way We Do Things’.
  • Monitor / control attendance records and other personnel statistics as required.

Manpower Planning / Recruitment and Selection Strategies

  • Co-ordinate the manpower needs with respective Head of Department.
  • Identify qualified candidates for vacant positions.
  • Arrange recruitment advertisement, and assist the hiring manager in the selection/interview process.
  • Extend offers of employment to ensure consistency in process.
  • Implement and administer employee Induction and Orientation programs.

Compensation & Benefits and Salary Administration

  • Administer and prepare staff payroll in compliance to statutory requirements e.g. EPF, SOCSO, IRD etc.
  • Maintain and control records of personnel insurance & claims.
  • Administer staff medical benefits including referrals for approval, verify bills and monitor panel doctors’ competitiveness.
  • Perform comparability studies and establish salary ranges.
  • Perform position evaluation and job content analysis.

Employee Engagement

  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance overall employee experience.
  • Organize team-building activities to build a cohesive and motivated workforce.
  • Conduct check-in programs and analyze feedback to improve workplace culture, ensuring alignment with D&I initiatives, and act as a bridge between management and employees.
  • Implement Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.

Industrial and Safety Relations

  • Co-ordinate with the Safety Officer to provide safety training programs for employees to reduce risk of accidents and/or injuries.
  • Manage cases to reduce costs associated with prolonged claims.

Personnel Administration

  • Administer and control of personnel records, statutory contributions etc.
  • Maintain personnel files, records, organization charts, systems and update information.

Organizational Development

  • Maintain and control training records, evaluation and training effectiveness.
  • Process training request (sourcing, registration).
  • Co-ordinate and administer appraisal system.

Others

  • Deputize the HR Manager during her absence.
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the HR Manager and the General Manager.

Experience Requirements:

At least five (5) years working experience in relevant field, as a HR generalist.

Educational Requirements:

Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.

Knowledge:

  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Analytical, systemic, organized, results-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Position evaluation and job content analysis.
