HR Executive (Retail Fashion Industry)(Small Team)

We are looking for a highly skilled HR Executive who is systematic, a problem solver, and ensures timely execution of all HR functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payroll management while overseeing performance appraisals, attendance, and the full spectrum of HR responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and training & development.
  • Payroll & Compensation
  • Maintain HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure all agreements, policies, and contracts comply with Malaysian employment laws. Manage HR Administration & Documentation - Maintain employee records and HR databases, manage HR software and HRIS systems, oversee leave management and employee attendance, and execute performance appraisals.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and structured employee evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and best HR practices to protect both employer and employee rights.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience with at least 5+ years in HR within one company.
  • Educational background in HR (Diploma/Degree preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in handling full-cycle disciplinary processes, including preparing necessary documents and executing legal procedures.
  • Expertise in performance appraisal systems, KPI setting, and employee evaluations.
  • Systematic and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in policies and agreements.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.
