Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  1. Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
  2. Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  3. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  1. Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely data entry of employee information.
  2. Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, leave entitlements, and other perks.

Employee Relations:

  1. Address basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  2. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  3. Support the HR Manager in resolving employee relations issues by collecting data and providing initial support.

Compliance & Documentation:

  1. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and assisting in audits as needed.
  2. Prepare HR reports and documents as required by the HR Manager.

Training & Development:

  1. Coordinate training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants.
  2. Assist in tracking employee training progress and maintaining training records.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus.
  6. Basic knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
