HR Executive

Varia Berhad is seeking an experienced HR Executive to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's people-centric initiatives and ensuring the effective management of all HR functions. What you'll be doing

• Administering and maintaining employee records and files, including personal information, compensation, and benefits
• Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
• Coordinating employee training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge
• Providing support in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborating with the HR team to address employee-related queries and concerns
• Contributing to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives
• Maintaining and updating HR databases and reporting systems

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Proficient in the use of HR software and Microsoft Office applications
• Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and labour regulations
• A team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
