HR EXECUTIVE

About the role

Ikrar Jaya Bina Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated HR Executive to join our dynamic team in Melaka. As an HR Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the overall human resources functions of our organisation, ensuring effective talent management and employee engagement. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
2. Maintaining employee records and documenting HR processes and policies
3. Providing support in the areas of employee onboarding, training and development
4. Administering employee benefits, such as leave, insurance, and payroll
5. Addressing employee queries and concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters
6. Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives
7. Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in construction industry
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
4. Proficient in HR-related software and technology, such as HRIS and payroll systems
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
6. Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed
