This position is responsible for supporting daily HR activities and assisting in implementing HR policies, processes and relevant documents. To educate, train, monitor and ensure company HR policy is followed amongst all employees. Performs the functions of the HR department, handling areas such as personnel management, social welfare and the maintenance of HR records.
- Possess a Degree / Professional Certificate / equivalent technical qualification / or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.
- 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist to oversee operations of HR department and to ensure the functions are carried out smoothly by HR Department.
- Handling of foreign workers and work permit renewals.
- To ensure the objective of the respective ISO on training and development are achieved.
- Policy and procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes.
- Conduct internal training in the area of motivation as well as work related to plant wide.
- Maintain in-house training modules for plant wide related to work.
- Establish yearly training plan and arrangement for internal as well as external training. Liaison with HRDF training reimbursement.
- Identify training needs of employees and execution and ensuring the effectiveness of training.
- Conduct and monitor training evaluation to ensure training effectiveness.
- Review and maintain record of employees’ job descriptions.
- Involve in recruitment exercise. Develop and consistently review skills test for recruitment.
- Establish, maintain and update personnel files and to ensure confidentiality of all records.
- Responsible for handling employees’ grievances and welfare.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested from time to time.
