The Role

The Access Group Malaysia GOC is a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be reporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Partner is key to supporting the rapid growth of the Malaysia Global Operations Centre, working closely with your colleagues within the People Team and with leadership & business leaders.

You will be experienced at working with senior leaders to create environments which drive high performance and engagement. Communicating, influencing and consulting with stakeholders in a way that is impactful and relevant play a key part of your role. You will play an essential role in advancing our business growth and performance whilst ensuring we have an inclusive environment where every employee can do their best work. Measures of success include contributing to our overall People Scorecard and achieving KPIs for your specific business groups.

Day-to-day, you will:

1. Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, coaching, advising and influencing stakeholders to increase engagement and performance.
2. Understand business strategies and align the People Plan to ensure the achievement of business objectives and how to measure its impact.
3. Partner with functional and divisional teams, providing consultative expertise and guidance on people matters, calling upon specialist experts from the wider People Team when appropriate to achieve the best outcome and employee experience.
4. Collaborate with the wider People team initiatives and embed across the business.
5. Bring to life our employee value proposition elevating employee experiences and engagement to the highest levels.
6. Use your expertise in Diversity and Inclusion, to continue to strengthen not only our diverse representation across the business, but the depth of relationships, opportunity, and sense of belonging which brings our EVP to life for every employee.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

1. Currently working at a HR Partner level with senior business leaders, with experience of working in fast-paced environments (ideally technology or related industry) with ever-changing priorities.
2. Experience of working in an International, multi-functional organisation is essential.
3. Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders.
4. Proven track record in driving a strategic HR agenda aligned to the business needs.
5. Comfortable with a common-sense HR culture; with a sound knowledge of employment law, you’ll know when to use your judgement instead of a policy.
6. Communication and great rapport building are your strengths; you’re able to draw upon real experience of relationships you’ve successfully managed.
7. You’re a team player who is resourceful, meticulous and able to multitask. You don’t shy away from rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in.
8. You’re prepared to go outside of your comfort zone and be ready to fail fast, it’s the best way to grow!
9. You’re resilient and comfortable with transparency, ambiguity and change.
10. You’re always looking for areas of improvement within the end-to-end employee lifecycle and people solutions.
11. You deploy a data-driven approach to HR with a solid understanding of the digital HR landscape. You are able to apply a data-driven approach to formulate and execute HR strategy.
12. Ability and openness to travel as required.
