Job Description
· Build strong relationships with business leaders and collaborate on people-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
· Ensure HR Strategy, policies and procedures are established and updated to reflect current requirement. Advise and recommend any changes or proposal to HR Director for approval.
· Direct a process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and personnel resources for the company, maintaining an optimal organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
· Stay updated on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance.
· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
· Direct and drive communication of company’s policies to employees and ensure it is understood and adhered to by all, at all times.
· Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and facilitate Strategic Workforce Planning discussion leading to action planning to close workforce gap.
· Responsible for the recruitment and selection process in talent acquisition.
· Collaborate with managers to develop employees, facilitate career development, and enable succession planning.
· Collaborate with business leaders to implement effective performance management processes and tools. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management best practices, target setting, and performance reviews. Ensure performance issues are addressed promptly and appropriately.
· Ensure compensation and benefit programs are competitive and meet regulatory requirements.
· Ensure compensation and recognition programs are designed and implemented to retain high potential and drive a performance culture. Review and propose annual salary review to CEO for approval.
· Responsible for the payment of salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, PCB etc., ensuring compliance and data integrity and accuracy of the payroll function.
· Responsible on employees’ commercial insurance inclusive renewal and claims.
· Ensure training needs analysis is performed with Heads of Department to address current capabilities and future training needs, including on-the-job training, departmental specific training, management development, and new hire orientation and onboarding.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
· Resolve employee complaints, disputes, and conflicts and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Handling Foreigners' matters such as visas, working permits, etc.
· Evaluate and recommend human resource outsourcing opportunities and identify potential vendors.
· Ensure all areas of the HR department are compliant for site audits.
· Performs any additional duties as and when assigned by members of senior management.
