HR and TRAINING MANAGER

Everrise Departmental Store Sdn Bhd – Kuching, Sarawak

Responsibilities

• Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including Recruitment and New Hire Orientations
• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and Sarawak labor regulations
• Develop employee training and development programs to ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
• Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
• Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and Sarawak labor regulations
• Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
• Maintain company organization charts and maintain records of personnel related data
• Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
• Conduct staff performance and salary reviews for EXCO approval
• Provide support and guidance to HR staff
• Design and implement employee retention strategies
• Ability to handle data confidentially

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in human resources in retail or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Sarawak Labour regulations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Open for Malaysian only and this position is at HQ in Kuching, Sarawak.
