With at least 15 years of HR working experience in the manufacturing industry, the candidate must be capable of leading a team and be responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administration functions that cover but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee day-to-day HR and administrative operational duties that include payroll processing, compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, employee engagement, foreign workers affairs, employee disciplinary as well as general HR Administration.
- In charge of payroll for Managers’ level while reviewing the payroll reports to ensure accuracy of the entire payroll of the Company.
- Review and maintain staff’s salary structure, compensation and benefits package to ensure market competitiveness.
- Propose and define HR strategic planning for talent management, performance and compensation management, training and development to address business needs and gaps that require solutions.
- Monitor team performance by providing direction and coaching to them in performing all their duties in an effective, efficient, ethical, consistent and transparent manner while in compliance with all related employment laws; RBA based code as well as customers’ requirements.
- Establish or review the relevant HR procedures/forms as well as practices and ensure its implementation and execution are effectively communicated and carried out.
- Work closely with other departmental managers to address any HR related matters such as manpower requirements and employees engagement programs.
- Liaise with government departments to ensure compliance with all related acts and its regulations.
- Support in all CSER (Corporate Social and Environment Responsibilities) related internal and external audits where necessary.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Superior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor degree in HR Management or equivalent.
- Well versed with Malaysian Employment Acts 1955 and current Labour practices; with experience in handling Industrial Relations/employee disciplinary matters.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Computerised HRMS and payroll systems.
- Possess a pro-active and positive work attitude with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good leadership skills and professional oral and written communication skills.
- Fair understanding of social compliance requirements, preferably RBA based code.
- Willing to travel overseas or outstation whenever required.
