HR Managers (Manufacturing/Engineering/Construction) Shah Alam/Cheras/Puchong/PJ

Position 1: HR & Admin Manager (Manufacturing MNC)

Experience in industrial & employment relations, government liaison, union management and foreign workers/expatriates management are strictly required. Well versed with Employment Law & Industrial Relation Law.

Job Scope

  • As the Department Head, to lead and manage the HR & Admin Department covering spectrum such as Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Government liaison, Employee Relations, Disciplinary Management etc
  • Responsible for the implementation and revision of human resources related management systems, policies and work processes
  • Responsible for organizing and supervising the implementation of various rules and regulations, policies and procedures at the workplace.
  • To ensure employment contract management are carried out as per local mandates and regulations, policies and procedures and responsible in handling labor complaints between employees and management, and coordinate grievance procedures.
  • To ensure the documentation control are managed according to the quality management standard
  • Handle full spectrum of recruitment process from sourcing, screening, posting jobs ads (end to end) by arranging interview and reference check to candidate.
  • Responsible for the formulation of the company's annual recruitment plan, execution of recruitment activities and hiring procedures
  • Responsible for the company's performance management system, compensation and benefits policies, and employee retention
  • Review all HR related incoming and outgoing documentation
  • Supervise the operations of company’s payroll function to ensure that all aspects of payroll are processed correctly and on time, payroll procedures are properly administered, and prepare reports for the accounting department, and resolve any payroll problems or discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Degree in HR or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of related experience in HR & Admin as the Head of Department
  • Well experienced in industrial relation, union management & foreign workers/expatriates management
  • Well versed with Employment Law & Industrial Relation Law

Position 2: HR & Admin Manager (Healthcare Therapy/Nutrition/Retail/Trading)

Job Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Operations Enhancement

  1. Develop and implement HR operational strategies to enhance efficiency, workforce productivity, and compliance with company goals.
  2. Continuously review and improve HR policies, processes, and systems to optimize HR functions.
  3. Ensure the company is compliant with labour laws, statutory regulations, and best HR practices.
  4. Provide data-driven HR insights to support management in decision-making and business growth strategies.

KPI & Performance Management

  1. Establish, track, and manage staff KPIs and performance evaluation frameworks to align with company objectives.
  2. Collaborate with department heads to ensure performance appraisals are conducted effectively and staff development plans are in place.
  3. Develop and implement staff retention strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement and motivation.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Strategy

  1. Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  2. Work closely with department heads to identify manpower needs and hiring priorities to support business expansion.
  3. Implement innovative talent sourcing strategies, including employer branding, partnerships, and digital recruitment methods.
  4. Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate well into the organization.

Compensation & Benefits Management

  1. Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely salary processing in compliance with statutory requirements.
  2. Continuously review and enhance employee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to maintain competitiveness in the market.
  3. Handle employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture

  1. Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and foster strong team collaboration.
  2. Organize staff activities and internal communication programs to improve morale and job satisfaction.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to reduce employee turnover and enhance job satisfaction.

Administration

  1. Oversee office administration functions, including office maintenance, equipment procurement, and vendor management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  2. Strong expertise in KPI management, HR operations strategy, and recruitment strategy.
  3. Familiarity with HR analytics, workforce planning, and talent development frameworks.
  4. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.

Position 3: HR Manager (Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing Group)

Responsible to lead, manage and oversee full spectrum of HR related strategic and operational matters.

  • Understand dynamic of business and work with Management to promote confidence and acceptance of the Company's objectives, policies; and build plan with aim to strengthen Company’s competitiveness through human resources.
  • Meet external compliance on rules & regulation related to people, safety & health; including labour law, Covid control plan, etc.
  • Manage and enforce internal compliance on rules & regulation related to people, safety & health; including Company / HR policy, knowledge base, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Head of Departments and Team Leader to execute HR functions proactively and correctly.
  • Understand, update and execute compliance and meet local culture HR needs in business where company has extended operation; including but not limited in Indonesia.
  • Develop Employee Engagement Program system and follow through, including establishment of effective communication system in new working norm, quality.
  • Work with the Management on developing, maintaining and enhancing the key performance indices for the company.
  • Work with Management for the development of the Performance Management System and follow through the execution with all stakeholders such as the Head of Department and Appraisees. Provide feedback from the ground that facilitates system improvement to the Management as and when required.
  • Conduct pulse survey to gauge the employees’ views and motivation about their working environment.
  • Perform a compensation and benefits review across industry and recommend a suitable placement for the Company.
  • Work together with Management to perform continuous review on the efficiency and effectiveness of HR systems to ensure HR systems, policies and practices serve the company’s objectives, are clearly communicated to all levels, and all employees.
  • Manage the foreign workers sourcing process that is cost-effective and meets the Company's manpower needs.
  • Manage servers and documentation control for HR department.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE GENERALLY REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably has working experiences in Construction / Manufacturing.
  • Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, HRIS, Compensation & Benefit, Recruitment, Foreign Worker Management, Learning & Development, IR & ER.
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Good leadership qualities, sound business acumen and excellent communication skills.
