Job description
  • Responsible for the employee recruitment process, including advertisement, interviews, and issuance of appointment letters.
  • Ensure that new employees undergo induction training and any other training as stated by the company.
  • Manage employee payroll, EPF, SOCSO, etc.
  • Administer and record employee attendance, leave, and overtime.
  • Liaise with HOD/Department PIC to resolve any employee issues.
  • Arrange and renew foreign workers' working visas and medical checkups.
  • Monitor and record the issuance of company belongings, such as uniforms and personal safety equipment.
  • Liaise with HOD/Department PIC to conduct training needs analysis, consolidate identified training needs, develop and execute the training plan, evaluate the effectiveness of training conducted, and maintain staff training records.
  • Oversee office equipment and facilities upkeep and maintenance, including external contractors/service providers.
  • Monitor, arrange, and renew company lorries' LPKP permits, road taxes, insurance, PUSPAKOM inspections, and vehicle maintenance services.
  • Monitor and update the company's vehicles' running expenses.
  • Actively improve morale and job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and create opportunities to enhance overall job satisfaction.
  • Submit yearly employee evaluation and training performance reports for management review.

ACCOUNT

  • Manage AR, AP, and GL, including billing, fund position management, issuing cheques, banking, preparing bank reconciliations, and all tasks related to closing accounts (full support for General Ledger and Journals preparation).
  • Manage and control the company's payment liabilities to suppliers/vendors/service providers/SOCSO/HRDF/EPF/LHDN in a timely manner.
  • Assist in generating monthly Debtors Statement of Account and Debtor Ageing Report within the specified time frame.
  • Work closely and follow up with other departments to facilitate smooth operation of accounting functions.
  • Backup the company's ERP data.
  • Handle any other special projects relating to financial matters as needed.

ACADEMIC, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENT

  • SPM certificate and above, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • ACCA or Certificate in accounting or 5 years of experience in the accounting and financial field.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Systems.
  • More than 1 year of HR and Accounts experience.
  • Multi-tasking, resourceful, and proactive with a sense of urgency.
