About the role

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at the renowned Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio in Bayan Lepas Penang, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in this full-time position. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, you will lead a team of housekeepers to deliver exceptional service and maintain the pristine presentation of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective operations
2. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation
3. Provide training, mentoring and support to the housekeeping team to develop their skills and knowledge
4. Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
5. Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to the cleanliness or condition of the rooms
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
7. Implement and monitor housekeeping policies, procedures and best practices to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry
2. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
4. Proficient in using housekeeping-related software and technology
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively liaise with guests and colleagues
6. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for guests
