Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure the best possible service.
Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily.
Establish and enforce high cleanliness and hygiene standards for guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Assign specific duties to housekeeping staff, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.
Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies.
Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition.
Recruit, hire, and train new housekeeping associates.
Ensure the availability of materials and equipment.
Perform staff reviews and encourage teamwork among staff.
Resolve customer problems and complaints.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management or equivalent.
2-3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a hospital environment at the supervisory level.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
