The In-House Corporal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the residence, family members, and staff. This role involves maintaining a secure environment through patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and equipment, and controlling access points. The Corporal will enforce the residence's security policies and manage security-related incidents or emergencies.

Key Result Areas / Responsibilities:
Provide a safe and secure environment for family members, staff, and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Protect the assets and interests of the residence, ensuring operations are carried out safely and effectively.
Execute safety and security responsibilities as directed by the House Manager.
Report emergencies to the House Manager and take necessary actions during incidents, including criminal activities and civil threats.
Patrol designated routes, directing traffic during peak hours and emergencies, and addressing illegal parking.
Report mechanical or electrical faults, leaks, and other hazards immediately to the House Manager.
Conduct surveillance via CCTV to identify criminal acts or potential mishaps and report findings to the House Manager.
Monitor maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Provide support in all security-related matters as needed.
Water plants and maintain the garden area as necessary.
Clean garbage twice a week to ensure a tidy environment.
Manage a team of five members in the department, coordinating tasks and responsibilities.
Prepare monthly scheduling for team members to optimize workflow and coverage.
Familiarize yourself with the entire house environment and building structure.
Refrain from entering the house premises unless otherwise instructed.
Participate in shift rotations as required, ensuring coverage during all hours.
General Duties:
Direct traffic and patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
Report conditions affecting safety, including signage and obstruction issues.
Employ problem-solving strategies to address security concerns.
Assist in meeting the needs of the residence community and represent the department at public functions.
Support co-workers during absences and perform other duties as assigned.
Stand for extended periods at stationary posts to control access to secured areas.
Conduct planned or unplanned rounds to ensure the physical security of restricted areas.
Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification:
Proficiency in English – both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia – both written and spoken.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Effective communication skills in both languages.
Proficiency in the use and maintenance of departmental equipment relevant to the position.
Knowledge of department rules, regulations, and procedures.
Familiarity with the residence's geography.
Courteous interaction with all levels of supervision.

Valid driver’s license without restrictions or with correctable restrictions.
