Job Descriptions:

• Ensure appropriate medication history taking and documentation for inpatient.
• Ensure medications are accurately dispensed to the correct patient.
• Counsel patients on proper drug administration & technique. Provide information and education to patients to ensure safe and appropriate use of medication.
• Check and supply of medicine stock, dangerous drugs, etc.
• Ensure medications are stored and dispensed appropriately to maintain efficacy and quality.
• Ensure all medications are managed in accordance with legal and hospital SOP.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hospital practice.
• Basic understanding of dosage administration and clinical reasoning in patients' pharmaceutical needs.
• Passionate and possesses the desire to continually improve knowledge & clinical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in handling 2 Pharmacy Assistants.
• Able to cover shifts when needed.
