JOB PURPOSE

The Head of Payment Solutions & Acquisition will lead the development, implementation and management of innovative payment solutions and customer acquisition strategies within Group Enterprise Banking (“GEB”). This role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience and building long-term relationships with Group Enterprise Banking customers through tailored payment and transaction solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive payment solutions and customer acquisition strategy tailored to SME/Commercial customers.
  2. Identify market trends, customer needs and emerging technologies to position the Bank as a leader in SME payment solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align payment strategies with the bank’s overall GEB’s objectives.
  4. Design and manage payment solutions tailored to SME/Commercial customers, including commercial and business cards (credit, debit, prepaid and virtual cards), payment gateways & merchant solutions and other innovative payment solutions/platforms.
  5. Oversee the full product life-cycle for business card solutions, including market analysis, product design, pricing and continuous optimization.
  6. Ensure payment solutions are seamlessly integrated with digital channels to provide convenience and efficiency for SME/Commercial customers.
  7. Develop and implement customer acquisition initiatives that leverage payment solutions and commercial card offerings to attract SME/Commercial customers.
  8. Develop pricing strategies and value propositions for payment solutions to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  9. Track and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for increased revenue and market penetration.
  10. Ensure payment and business card solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  11. Work closely with group compliance and risk management teams to maintain robust controls and governance frameworks.
  12. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum Degree Holder and at least 5 years of managerial experience in SME Banking or Payment Solutions or Transaction Banking.
  2. Proven track record in developing and managing commercial/business card products and solutions.
  3. Experience in SME customer acquisition and relationship management is an added advantage.
  4. Knowledge of digital payment platforms, fintech innovations and regulatory frameworks related to payment and card solutions.
  5. Strong business acumen.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making capabilities.
  7. Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Leadership and people management abilities.
  10. General administrative and managerial expertise.
  11. Matured and result oriented leader.
