With the current expansion, they are looking for a potential candidate to fill the position of Head of Security and Safety to lead their entire security and safety division for their entities nationwide.
Salary: Basic up to RM12,000
Position Title: Head of Security and Safety (Permanent Position)
Working Days: 5 working days (Office Hours)
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
Team Size: 5 Direct Reports (Executive Level)
Job Responsibilities:
The Head of Security and Safety is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of all security, safety, and risk management programs within the organization nationwide. This includes protecting the organization's physical assets, employees, intellectual property, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all staff, visitors, and stakeholders. The role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in security, safety, crisis management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in security, safety, or risk management roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security strategies, managing crises, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and interacting with external vendors and government agencies.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
- Working experience in police force.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Deep understanding of physical security systems, risk assessment tools, and emergency management protocols.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, employees, and external parties.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions in crisis situations.
- Knowledge of relevant security and safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
