Head of Procurement (Asia Pacific)

Job Summary: As Head of Procurement (Asia Pacific), you will lead a team of professionals in managing procurement functions across multiple countries, ensuring strategic partnerships with suppliers and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a regional procurement strategy that aligns with company objectives, leveraging your expertise in supply market knowledge and supplier relationships.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of procurement specialists, fostering collaboration and professionalism across the region.
• Identify and evaluate best-in-class suppliers, negotiating agreements that drive value for B. Braun.
• Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with their strategies and demands.
• Promote performance excellence and implement best-in-class practices throughout the region's procurement functions.
• Guarantee transparency in all procurement-related data and develop uniform processes and tools for seamless global operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10 years of experience in production procurement/category management within APAC
• Demonstrated expertise in direct and indirect procurement, procurement excellence, and leadership
• Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong supplier relationships
• Knowledge of sustainability procurement is an added advantage

• Proven track record of setting up partners for success and working with long-term partners collaboratively and sustainably
• Strong perseverance in the face of price pressures and global/regional supply issues
