Our client, a globally recognized leader in the Services industry, is seeking a Head of Legal, Compliance & Secretarial to join their dynamic team. This role will report directly to the CEO as the company continues its journey toward the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute legal strategies aligned with Group objectives and regulations.
Assess legal risks and opportunities, sharing proactive advice to minimize risks while facilitating business growth.
Manage legal due diligence, negotiate terms, and handle the drafting and execution of legal agreements.
Provide continuous legal support in areas like corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
Ensure protection and defense of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Manage legal matters related to employee disputes, investigations, and terminations.
Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Stay informed about regulatory developments, ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions and maintaining key external relationships.
Key Requirements:
Min 15 years of working experience in Corporate Law & Compliance.
Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
Good knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ABAC, etc.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking leader/team player with good stakeholder management skills, business acumen & strategic thinking.
Able to handle contracts in Chinese.
