Job description

Oversee all the company's legal matters and provide legal advice to ensure compliance with operational legal requirements.

Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the company's legal strategies and ensure legal compliance.
Advisory Role: Advise management and department heads on a broad range of legal and compliance matters.
Legal Support: Provide legal advice and support on issues such as legal, contractual, litigation, commercial law, and adherence to statutory or regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify legal risks proactively and offer advice on all corporate operational legal matters to ensure compliance.
Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on new laws and regulations applicable to the company, and initiate necessary changes impacting business operations.
Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
Document Handling: Review, negotiate, and draft all types of arrangements, contracts, legal documents, etc.
External Liaison: Liaise with external parties and lawyers on legal matters.
Culture of Compliance: Promote and facilitate a culture of compliance across the company.
Integrity and Responsibility: Conduct work with integrity and responsibility.
Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.

Corporate Law Expertise: Key exposure to corporate law and knowledge of corporate legal issues.
Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills and sound legal judgment to support business needs.
Business Judgment: Excellent business judgment, agility, and strategic thinking.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Document Skills: Strong in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial documents.
Managerial Skills: Strong managerial skills.
