Job description

The position is responsible for developing and implementing an overarching and comprehensive Brand Strategy for the Group - including subsidiaries' products, services, and product lines to resonate with the current or potential customers' expectations, lifestyle, and experiences. The person is also accountable to ensure all brand-related matters across the Group and its subsidiaries are on-brand and aligned to the overall Brand Strategy with constant monitoring on brand perception in the markets where the Group operates. The ownership of Brand PR and Communications sits under this position, and working closely with Group Communications, to uplift and strengthen the Group and subsidiaries' brand position across all segments and markets.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Responsible for developing and implementing the brand strategy for the Group and its respective subsidiaries, relevant to each company's target market and customer segments.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow the brand asset (including corporate products and collaterals) and the corporate identity of MAG and all companies within MAG (B2B and B2C) to ensure alignment and equity.
  • Accountable to maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications on all platforms and media channels.
  • Develop, guide, and enforce the adoption of the brand identity across each subsidiary.
  • Conduct brand training and communication across the Group with brand plans and measures/scorecard.
  • Responsible for brand management and to build Brand PR and loyalty across all markets, working with Group Communications Department and the appointed PR agencies of all Points of Sales (POS).
  • Develop and execute marketing programs that increase brand identity and brand awareness of a company or product, to include festive campaigns and corporate identity activation campaigns.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate brand events and BTL activations with other entities within the Group, across all POS.
  • Monitor and track the brand health and perception of target markets and customer segments to ensure improvements year on year.
  • Manage internal and external creative agency teams to build scalable and innovative creative concepts, authentic brand voices, unique look and feel, relevant messaging, and ensure brand integrity and consistent quality across all deliverables.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to translate strategic goals into compelling brand experiences and deliver engaging, impactful, and timely solutions that elevate the brand.
  • Put in place structure, workflows, and creative processes to generate style guide, brand tools, and scale production of visual assets. Develop and fill internal content library to store and share assets across the group.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop skills of team members, focusing on growing areas of strength, assigning accountability, empowering them to do their best job. Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork.

WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:

  • Degree in Brand/Marketing or other relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in creative/marketing or related field.
  • Area of experience - Creative/Marketing or related field.
