Head of Finance (Regional)

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Finance (Regional) to lead the finance operations of a fast-growing, well-capitalized digital infrastructure platform with a strong footprint across Asia Pacific. This key leadership role will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy, enhancing governance frameworks, and supporting the company’s ambitious regional expansion.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, preferably with a strong background in high-growth, private equity-backed environments. You will collaborate closely with the C-suite to embed financial discipline, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the company’s continued success across multiple markets.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the finance function, partnering with the CFO to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to inform business decisions and growth strategies.
3. Establish and strengthen financial controls, risk management practices, and compliance across regional operations.
4. Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions to support capital raising, debt financing, and treasury management.
5. Collaborate closely with key business units — including investment, acquisition, design, construction, and sales — to deliver financial insights and optimize business performance.
6. Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate management accounts, investor reports, and statutory filings.
7. Design and implement scalable finance systems, processes, and internal controls to support rapid, multi-country expansion.
8. Provide financial and tax due diligence, deal structuring support, and strategic evaluation for investment and acquisition activities, including market entry initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and strategic financial leadership roles.
2. Track record of success in fast-paced, private equity-backed companies is highly desirable.
3. Industry experience in digital infrastructure (e.g., data centres, telecommunications, towers), renewable energy or real estate is advantageous.
4. Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial control, treasury, and investor relations.
5. Proven experience managing finance teams across multi-entity, cross-border operations in Asia Pacific.
6. In-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory standards, and financial governance.
7. Ability to lead and execute in a dynamic, high-growth, and evolving environment.
8. Exceptional leadership skills with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
9. Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
